Despite this fact, the skipper MS Dhoni didn’t lose heart and broke the ice by saying that it’s not the end of the world if CSK don’t get the chance to enter the IPL finals. He smartly covered up the situation by showing that he is not worried about his team’s eligibility for the IPL 2022.
However, Devon Conway (87 off 49) scored a remarkable score in IPL 2022. Following that, Moeen Ali’s (3/13) splendid bowling led them to outperform Delhi Capitals by a whopping 91-run win.
CSK has bagged the 8th rank defeating KKR in the overall run score. They won for the fourth time by scoring 91 runs against DC in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 session.
Apart from that, Ruturaj Gaikwad (41 off 33) and Shivam Dube (32 off 19) also gave splendid performances with the bat and boosted the team’s performance this year.

We can’t neglect the fact that CSK’s heart-felt win over DC. It may also become the reason for their qualification in IPL 2022 playoffs. Nonetheless, their win is largely dependent on other circumstances as well. For that, the team also needs to break off records and play their best bet to win the rest of the three games. However the world won’t end if CSK don’t qualify for the playoffs.
MS Dhoni believes that it was an ideal game for CSK- IPL 2022
The outstanding skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni further added that he’s not good at maths and even in his school times, he wasn’t good at it. He said that he can’t comment on NRR and for the audience, they should just enjoy the IPL 2022 match.
He said that one should not be worried or thinking all-the-way while a match is going on between two teams. However, they should focus on making the best next move in their upcoming turn. According to MS Dhoni, it was a perfect game for them and they are not too worried about their qualification to the finals in 2022.
“The batters’ performance was up to the mark. The toss is where things went off-road. Our call was to win the toss and field first. However, I was fine knowing the fact that we lost. Each one of us tried to contribute on our part. The board depicting the runs was really assisting”, he added.
MS Dhoni, the bewildering skipper, also showed his kind behaviour towards the other team members. He praised Simarjeet and Mukesh for acting positively under such exhausting conditions.
“Mukesh and Simarjeet both were patient while soaking in the situation with maturity. They are potent enough. Playing more is what makes them capable of getting the right sense of the game. The main fact revolves around understanding the delivery to bowl and the delivery to avoid. T20 was more about being familiar with the delivery to avoid, and not bowling.
